Ralph Hermans

When chef Ralph Hermans graduates from the hotel school, top chef Van Eerd hires him for The Harbour Club where Ralph starts his culinary career. Next, he gains experience with chef Ralf Berendsen at Kasteel Wittem. After receiving the trust of Van Eerd and learning intensively from Berendsen, chef Ralph becomes the sous-chef of restaurant l'Atelier in Gulpen. He continues to work on his CV and joins Toine Hermsen at the Belgian Michelin-starred restaurant Kristalijn. Then in 2014, he opens his own restaurant Rantrée in Maastricht, together with his partner Jennifer Silvius who is the hostess and sommelier. In 2018, Rantrée moves to its current location: the panoramic restaurant on the 8th floor of the Dormio Resort Hotel on the Dousberg. A new culinary hotspot is born. In no-time, its outstanding efforts are awarded with a prestigious Michelin star.
