This establishment is in the hands of the Moscardi family. In the kitchen, chef Nadia Moscardi shares the stove with her sister Vilma and mother Elodia. Working with modern techniques and authentic ingredients, the chef prepares superb Abruzzese specialties. The restaurant’s inviting dining room has an elegant and contemporary décor. It features a fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows which offer a great vista of the surrounding park. If the weather allows it, you can sit down on the spacious terrace, for a quiet alfresco meal.

Elodia restaurant pays homage to its family traditions with a kitchen that is elegant and intelligent, from the first stage of selecting raw materials, to serving the meal. Each dish combines classic and modern influences, giving the dishes a distinct sense of territory and storytelling with style and timeless elegance. A favourite dish on the menu is the spaghettino all’amatriciana bianca with cardoncelli mushrooms. Being pleasantly priced, chef Nadia’s kitchen was awarded a Bib Gourmand by the prestigious Michelin Guide – for its excellent price-pleasure ratio.

Situated within an hour-and-a-half drive from the city of Rome, L’Aquila is conveniently located yet sparsely visited by tourists. For those into outdoor sports, the area offers numerous hiking trails, which are especially popular during summer, as well as several ski resorts in the surrounding mountain areas (for instance, Gran Sasso d'Italia).
