Silvia Hueber
Silvia HueberSilvia Hueber has a love of gastronomy in her blood. After completing her training at the Hotel Management School in Weyer, she was drawn to Zell am See and Crete for a season before finally honing her skills at the Hotel Schachner in Maria Taferl for over four years - starting as Commis de Cuisine and working her way up to Chef Gardemanger/Patissier. It was there that she met Stefan, with whom she found a common path not only professionally but also personally. Since November 2014, Silvia and Stefan have been running the family business HUEBER DER WIRT IN BRÜNDL with heart and passion - now in its fifth generation.

The cuisine of Hueber der Wirt focuses on seasonal dishes that highlight the richness of the Mostviertel. Each season brings a new focus: from fresh fish and spring vegetables to game and harvest products in the autumn. The emphasis is on local, sustainable ingredients and authentic flavors. The daily freshly picked herbs by partner Silvia certainly contribute to this.
Comfortable and stylish rooms
Hueber der Wirt offers two different styles of rooms. The classic rooms are decorated in a rustic country house style with light pine, while the 'Genießer Zimmer' have modern accents and colorful decor. Both room types are designed to provide guests with a comfortable and relaxing experience.
Peace, culture, and nature
St. Georgen an der Leys is a small town in the north of Lower Austria, located in the Mostviertel, a welcoming, hilly area ideal for all forms of relaxation. The highest mountain here is 948 meters (Statzberg). The Melk river also originates here and flows into the Danube at the town of the same name (with an impressive abbey). For hikers, the Erlaufschlucht is a picturesque destination, and the 12th-century Plankenstein castle also leaves a fascinating impression.
